INNOFLIGHT SELECTED BY MAXAR SPACE SYSTEMS FOR SDA PWSA TRANCHE 2 TRACKING LAYER PROGRAM

• Maxar Space Systems teamed with Innoflight on Space Development Agency (SDA) Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) Tranche 1 Tracking Layer program for the delivery of S-band backup Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TT&C) radios with encryption for 16 Space Vehicles (SVs)

• L3Harris Technologies won a prime contract with SDA for Tranche 2 Tracking Layer for 18 SVs

• Innoflight was recently selected by Maxar Space Systems to deliver S-band backup TT&C radios with encryption for 18 SDA PWSA Tranche 2 Tracking Layer SVs

SAN DIEGO, CA, Innoflight, a leading provider of secure space avionics to SDA since Tranche 0, is pleased to announce that it has been selected by Maxar Space Systems for the delivery of the S-band backup TT&C secure communications sub-system for the SDA PWSA Tranche 2 Tracking Layer program.

Maxar Space Systems will be delivering 18 Maxar 300™ spacecraft platforms to L3Harris Technologies equipped with Innoflight’s S-band software-defined compact radios and Type-1 end cryptographic units.    

The Tranche 2 Tracking Layer will enhance SDA’s capability to provide global, persistent indications, detection, warning, and tracking, of conventional and advanced missile threats, including hypersonic missile systems.
